Hello, scent explorer and perfume adventurer, Thank you for being here. This is the letter I should have started with. I only realize that now. I wanted to remain anonymous – to stay behind the scenes, to speak through my creations, through a voice that belonged to the brand. The bottle – a beginning or a midpoint?
When does a fragrance begin – with the written formula, on the skin, or when it takes physical form? A bottle is often seen as the final stage – a container for a finished scent. In the case of Lilium Parfum, it is neither the beginning nor the end, but a midpoint. A fragrance begins as structure: a relationship between notes, density, colour, silence and intensity.
